If your a fan of good music, you’ll know how amazing and full of nothing but pure greatness the Watch The Throne tour in London was. So great, that I had to make two visits, which still wasn’t enough in my opinion. I was lucky enough to be standing right at the front of the O2 arena witnessing musical magic as Jay-z and Kanye West went in on EVERY single track. The overall vibe was beyond words, something only these two musical genius’ could create, and something that i’ll never forget!
Aiming High Never Fails. Always Aim High.
I really need to stop neglecting my blog. I know tumblr is know for its constant re-blogging and bombardment of imagery, however I started off by creating this blog loving writing. Im now drifting away from that. As much as I love photography, art and expression through it, I think it’s equally as important to create a voice through writing.
What have you been upto recently Amrit?
I’ve currently been running around like a headless chicken. If i’m not working on a photo shoot, i’m in a studio testing, if i’m not doing that i’m writing pitching for more projects and if i’m not doing that… the list goes on.
Friday “positive” 13th
I’ve always said it. Friday 13th has been the best day in the year, each and every year for me. In fact this year has been even better. I have amazing family and friends that continue to make each year better for me. This is another day where I thank god for blessing me with such greatness in my life. May I wake up tomorrow to an equally great day.
A Photography Journey
Monday 2nd April, 2012
It seems a though my blog has been neglected somewhat. I can only put it down to university life as well as Easter break. However I intend on updating this far more now.
As of recent I’ve been taking far more of an interest towards photography. I’ve always loved it, and have always explored with it. However recently it’s become something more. I find myself taking my camera wherever I go and making something out of nothing. I’ve never really appreciated the camera and the artistic ways behind the lens as much before. But now I understand. The camera is far more than just a piece of technology. Its a voice. It’s sheds lite on ones feelings and emotion, a bit like art. Wait, what am i saying? It’s not like art, it IS art.
You're blog is so amazinngg, it really is! :) haha how did you get interested in fashion and all fashion related stuff? i mean i love fashion, but what got you so interested which made you study it? anyways, much love! xxx
Its not something i always wanted to do, nor did i always have a passion for it. Everyone loves fashion: clothing, makeup and so on, but i never thought of it as a career option. I never knew what i wanted to do when i was asked “what do you want to be when you grow up”. However the older i got, and the more I experienced and travelled, the more i realised that its something which makes me happy, and allows me to creativeley express myself, and feel comfortable in doing so in my own right. To find that all bound together in one is a rarity in itself. I later understood that fashion has far more of an in-depth meaning that whats shown on the surface, this is what i was able to relate to. So many storys can be told through fashion, what ever field it may within the industry. That’s the main reason why I hold tight on to what I have, for I know I’m very lucky to be studying it, with it being such a hard industry to break into.
Update: Reflection & Submission Days
Monday 12th March 2012.
Tomorrow is the day of submission. Thankfully my practical based submission deadline was last week, which was a huge relief. Now the ‘biggie’ is this cultural studies essay.

Work-load, mass panic & typical student mess.
If theres a moment where I should be stressing, it’s now. The amount of sleepless nights ahead are going to be uncountable soon Enough. I have two weeks until my submission deadline, which includes an assignment, in-depth sketchbook and a publication. After the mini mass panic mode, i’m reminded why I love what I do so much. The creativity!
